During the second quarter of 2017, the brand celebrated a grand opening in its hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. On May 17, Buffalo Wings & Rings opened its doors for business in the city’s West Chester community, tapping into a previously underserved segment where demand for the brand’s services is high. The opening comes on the heels of an incredibly strong first quarter—in the first three months of the year alone, Buffalo Wings & Rings launched new restaurants in Florida, Kentucky and North Dakota.

Si Rose, the franchisee behind Buffalo Wings & Rings’ new West Chester location, says that business is already booming in his new location. He decided to expand his reach as an owner with the brand after experiencing success with his first Buffalo Wings & Rings restaurant in nearby Finneytown. And because he sees the strong growth potential behind the brand, he’s planning to have four locations up and running within the next three years.
“We couldn’t be happier with how our grand opening went. The reception from the local community has been fantastic—Buffalo Wings & Rings already has such a strong reputation in the Cincinnati area, and families are thrilled that we opened one right in West Chester,” said Rose. “Ultimately, what makes Buffalo Wings & Rings work in every market that it opens up in is its family-centric environment. Franchisees like me who run family owned and operated stores have a tie to the local community that can’t be found anywhere else. And that passion for making Buffalo Wings & Rings welcoming to everyone is evident across our entire system, from the corporate team to our employees.”
One of those employees, Si Rose’s son, Tyler, has played a pivotal role in his father’s expansion and success. Tyler has worked in a variety of roles at the Finneytown location and was recently recognized as Manager of the Year at the Buffalo Wings & Rings annual conference this summer in Clearwater, Florida.
Going forward into the second half of 2017, Buffalo Wings & Rings has its sights set on replicating the success that it’s seeing in West Chester in new areas. The brand will be opening four to five new locations with existing franchisees and is actively looking for new franchise partners to continue the brand’s growth in established markets across the country in states like Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Texas and Florida. The corporate team at Buffalo Wings & Rings is eager to help aspiring entrepreneurs reach their full potential as local business owners.
