Buffalo Wings & Rings recently opened in Arlington, Texas on Wednesday, October 26, and digital editor, Preston Jones made a trip out to try the new sports restaurant in Arlington.
According to Jones and the Star-Telegram, the restaurant is tucked away off of Interstate 30 and is bright, clean and spacious which positions itself far away from the pennant-filled, dim and musty aroma of a traditional sports-bar.
"The sense of friendly accessibility and customized experiences extends to the sprawling, chef-driven menu, which encompasses everything from salads, sandwiches and quesadillas too chicken wings, burgers and beer, all thanks to Elliot Jablonsky.
Jones tried the boneless wings (10), half buffalo sauce and half in the signature "Garlic-Q." Jones's wife, Carla got the Buffalo chicken club which had a fried chicken tender tossed in Buffalo hot sauce on a toasted hoagie topped with applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, red onion and a choice of blue-cheese or ranch dip.
Through it all, the Jones's evening was marked by thoughtful, unobtrusive service and "the comfortable sense that Buffalo Wings & Rings could be the kind of place, were it just down the street, a person could slip into on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and stay put to the final down."
